Product Overview

Our dry cooler is a water-saving closed-loop air cooling heat exchanger, also known as dry air cooler, fin fan cooler and remote radiator. Different from traditional open cooling towers, it relies on ambient air for heat exchange without massive water evaporation, realizing zero scaling, zero water waste and zero fluid contamination risk.
We supply flat type, V-type, H-type vertical dry coolers, standard dry coolers and adiabatic hybrid dry coolers with cooling capacity from 20kW to 5000kW. All units support OEM & ODM customization for data center immersion cooling, power plant, chemical plant, induction furnace, HVAC chiller, mining and oil & gas cooling systems.

Working Principle

The high-temperature fluid (glycol water, industrial oil, process water, coolant) circulates inside seamless finned copper coils. High-efficiency axial fans continuously push ambient air through corrugated aluminum fins to take away heat from internal fluid, lowering fluid temperature for recycling in closed cooling loops.
For adiabatic dry cooler versions, an auxiliary water curtain system sprays tiny water mist only under extreme high ambient temperature, boosting heat dissipation with minimal water consumption, ensuring stable cooling effect in summer hot climate.

Q1: What's the difference between dry cooler and closed cooling tower?
A1: Dry cooler uses air-only heat exchange with zero water evaporation, nearly no water consumption, no scaling, more suitable for water shortage areas and clean closed-loop systems. Closed cooling tower relies on water evaporation for heat dissipation, higher cooling efficiency under ultra-high temperature but needs regular water supplement and water treatment.
Q2: Can dry cooler work in 45℃ high ambient temperature?
A2: Standard dry cooler works normally below 38℃. We supply adiabatic hybrid dry coolers with water mist pre-cooling system, stable operation under 48℃ high ambient temperature.
Q3: What fluid can pass through the dry cooler coil?
A3: Standard copper coil fits glycol water, pure process water. Stainless steel coil can transport weak acid, alkali, industrial hydraulic oil, coolant and other special mediums.
Q4: Is installation complicated?
A4: Modular split structure, pre-assembled in factory. Only connect fluid pipeline and power supply on site, we provide complete installation drawings and operation guidance.
Q5: What's the service life of the dry cooler?
A5: Standard model design service life over 15 years; sealed fan bearing maintenance-free for 5 years, anti-corrosion shell avoids rust damage in outdoor environment.
